About Us
Tasco lighting is a South African founded and based lighting manufacturing company with the aim of providing our clients with a wide range of lighting designs that meet and exceed client expectations.With our innovative in-house team of designers we have a wide range of lighting designs as we continue coming up with new designs of modern energy efficient lights that not only give a spectacular look at the finishings of commercial,industrial and factory buildings but also achieves the global objectives of energy savings .As we continue to expand on designs into a competitive domestic,household,indoor and outdoor lighting solutions guided by research in customer expectations on designs and variety in styles and trends, our designers are coming up with new products to offer the market.
OUR HISTORY
Tasco Lighting was built in on the back of fluorescent and incandescent lighting but as times are changing and so are we. We’re going green with our new range of LED fittings. LED lights give up to 80% more efficiency than traditional lighting as so much more of the energy from an LED is converted into light rather than heat. In addition, the power drawn from an LED is so much less than the traditional counterpart. For example, an 84 watt fluorescent can now be replaced with an 36 watt LED and give the same level of light. Less energy equals less demand from the power plants and therefore decreases greenhouse gas emissions.
